Following an isolated case in April 2018, we were horrified that 7 students and 1 member of staff were unfortunately involved in a single incident that took place one evening.
The cleaner involved was working outside of College hours. He was immediately suspended and subsequently dismissed. This individual has never set foot on the College campus again.
The staff and students involved were immediately informed, had access to welfare and given full support.
We are committed to safeguarding, and the health, safety and well-being of our students and staff. This is our highest priority and rigorous checks are in place.
Please be assured this was an isolated incident that was managed promptly and decisively.
We have been unable to speak publicly about the case before today because it was the subject of a police investigation and legal action.
