October marks Black History Month, a national event giving everyone the chance to share, celebrate and understand the contribution of black heritage and culture that may have been overlooked by society previously.
The annual event, now in its 34th year, intends to promote togetherness, recognise contribution and achievements, change stereotyped views and challenge racism.
Here at Stamford College, we strongly believe cultural diversity strengthens our institution and are fully committed to providing equal opportunities in learning and employment to all as part of our integral, long-term strategy to increase equality, diversity and inclusion.
We recognise and value each individual student and staff member and aim to provide an inspiring and encouraging environment so that everyone can achieve their personal goals and reach their full potential.
