Stamford College bricklaying students have been working with BHive Community in Grantham, helping to transform their outdoor space into a tranquil sensory garden for local people in need.

The renovated garden will transform lives by providing anyone feeling vulnerable or suffering from mental or physical health issues a safe space to relax by themselves, in a group or engage in a one-to-one confidential chat with a volunteer.
Representatives from the BHive Community praised the students for their hard work and professionalism during their weekly visits, “The transformation carried out by Ryan, Tom, and the team is nothing short of amazing”. The praise did not stop there when they added, “The dedication of the team was incredible, and I must point out the politeness and courtesy shown by each and every one of the student team. They are a credit to your college”.
We are incredibly proud of the hard work carried out by our students in this community project which will be enjoyed and appreciated by so many needing a place of peace, and how well they represented the College in the local community.
