Pathways student, Tyler Caulton, has received outstanding feedback from his work experience providers, as he pursues a career as a bricklayer.

Tyler began his journey with Stamford College, part of Inspire Education Group, in 2020, enrolling on the Animal & Horticulture course within the Skills for Work & Living department. Having always aspired to work, he got stuck into all practical activities, participating in projects with the wildlife charity, Froglife, undertaking work experience with Burghley Park, and playing an integral role in the training of the College’s therapy dog, Eddi.
This year, Tyler is completing the Pathways course, with the long-term aim of becoming a bricklayer. To prepare for this, Tyler is offering private gardening work, receiving very positive feedback from a client, “I am so impressed with Tyler - he is always on time and talks positively about his ideas and suggestions, based on his College learning. He always does a fantastic job, working safely, asking for help when he needs it and is very thorough. We cannot say enough positive things about Tyler – he is a smashing boy and we trust him implicitly with his work”. Tyler has also undertaken work experience with C.A. Groundworks, with a representative of the landscaping company writing into College to commend his hard work, “Tyler used great initiative throughout the tasks given to him to help the team complete a landscape project. Tyler was a pleasure to have helping us and has a bright future in the Construction Industry”.
Well done to Tyler for all his hard work.
