This week, hundreds of prospective students and their families attended the final Stamford College Meet the Tutor event and Open Evening of the academic year.
Many offer-holders arrived early for the ‘Meet the Tutor’ event, to discuss their options and voice any concerns to teaching staff, in a friendly, welcoming environment. They learnt about the details of their chosen course, such as timetabling and required uniform, to help them to settle in to College life before September.
At the Open Event, students of the Events Team were on hand to guide visitors around campus, and to share their experiences of their time at College. Representatives from A Levels, apprenticeships, T Levels and diplomas offered guidance on post-16 options, and the Student Services teams advised on welfare, transport and financial support queries.
