Ellie Smitheringale Pope 01

Ellie Smitherigale studied theatrical, special effects hair & media make up at New College Stamford. Ellie returned to the college to deliver a demonstration on a 1940s make-up style. She then worked with students to improve their skills on this look.

Ellie Smitheringale Pope 02

Since college, Ellie decided to begin working full time whilst taking the time to launch her own freelance hair & make-up business. Ellie never saw herself working on a make-up counter; she thrives working and collaborating with a variety of different photographers and models.
Ellie explains that the confidence that she gained studying at the college helped prepare her to work with other professionals in the industry.
The course had Ellie grow her confidence by practising basic make-up looks, but over time she gained the confidence to produce full-body art!
