GCSE students at Stamford College, part of Inspire Education Group, are celebrating a superb group pass rate of 90.8% today, higher than the 73% national average.
Staff are immensely proud of the perseverance and efforts made by their students who have gained GCSE qualifications with us, a qualification which can open up career opportunities and additional learning options.
Barnaby Chapman (pictured) achieved a grade 5 in maths, achieving 212/240, the highest result of all our learners, plus a grade 4 in English, and is about to embark on a career supporting others as he begins counselling training.
“I am so pleased to have passed!”
George Bristow, who works for Travis Perkins, achieved grade 5 in maths, a qualification he has been hoping to achieve for many years, enabling him to progress in his educational journey with his employer.
“It’s so good to finally have this, there are courses I want to get onto that I need this qualification for, and now there’s nothing holding me back.”
Cloudia Vercellotti achieved a grade 5 in English, and a grade 4 in maths, whilst studying A Levels, keeping her on track to study Law at university.
“I can now concentrate on getting my A Levels and getting into university, I really want to study Law and needed to get my GCSEs to do this.”
Well done to all our GCSE students, and the best of luck in your next steps.
