Stamford College Creative Arts Students Exhibit Work At Stamford Arts Centre

The show includes work from across all of the Cre­ative Arts cours­es, from the Lev­el 1 Award through to Lev­el 3 Extend­ed Diplo­ma. As not­ed by Rachael Coop­er, Head of Fac­ul­ty for Busi­ness, IT, Media, Trav­el and Arts, the exhi­bi­tion ​“is the cul­mi­na­tion of months of stu­dent work and is an excel­lent oppor­tu­ni­ty for them to show­case their cre­ations in a pub­lic gallery”. One fea­tured artist is Lev­el 3 Extend­ed Diplo­ma in Art & Design stu­dent, Ellis Gard­ner, show­cas­ing the side piece:

Rachael Coop­er com­mend­ed the stu­dents and their tutors for their hard work; ​“It’s a real plea­sure to see how far our learn­ers have come since they joined us, and the lev­el of cre­ativ­i­ty and tech­ni­cal skills on dis­play is real­ly breath-tak­ing and every­one should be very proud of them­selves. It is also tes­ta­ment to the fan­tas­tic teach­ing team who work tire­less­ly to make the cours­es fun, engag­ing and indus­try-rel­e­vant, so that our stu­dents can gain the skills they need to move suc­cess­ful­ly from Stam­ford Col­lege, onto their next steps, whether that be High­er Edu­ca­tion or employment”’.

Stam­ford Arts Cen­tre is open Mon­day to Sat­ur­day, from 8:30am. Clos­ing times are defined by the event sched­ule, but gen­er­al­ly not before 8pm.
