Ambitions, which is the college’s provision for adults with learning disabilities, have been busy taking orders and making Christmas crafts just in time for the Christmas festivities. ‘Revitalised Enterprise’ is our internal social enterprise business offering work skills using donated wood and craft supplies to upcycle into beautiful items. The items were that popular, they actually ran out of wood before they could even start taking orders.

With all the items they have sold so far, they have made a whopping £330 in a week of pop up shops (Which is AMAZING!). This type of work is excellent and really allows the participants to learn entrepreneurial and independent skills which will un-doubtably help them in the future!

Using the money that their hard work and craftsmanship has raised, they will now enjoy using the money for end of term trips to Twinlakes Theme Park, Baytree’s Winter Wonderland, tobogganing at Tallington lakes, bowling and a big Christmas dinner with all the trimmings!
