Former Catering & Hospitality student Jodie Whitehead will compete in the 2019 Miss England competition.
Jodie Whitehead a former student of New College Stamford has been competing over the last few months in order to make her way to the overall National Final of the Miss England contest. She has won regional and County wide competitions which has seen her make her way to the Grand Final which takes place in Newcastle on the 31st of July.
Jodie will be competing against 50 other girls who have also won their regional competitions all to take the coveted prize of the Miss England 2019. Jodie will be competing in a number of rounds including hair, sport and a quiz, after about 20,000 had entered the competition. The overall winner of this will then be entered into the Miss World completion which would be an amazing experience.
As well as competing in the Miss England Competition, Jodie is an extremely busy person because since leaving our College, she has forged her own path of success in the Catering Industry which has led her right to the top of the profession. She now currently is working in the highly regarded "Ritz" in London which is a fantastic achievement. To take the skills she has learnt whilst at College and make her way to work for perhaps one of the most iconic Hotels in London is absolutely brilliant.
Jodie is a fantastic role-model and an extremely talented individual and we would like to wish her the best of luck for when she competes and also for progressing forward in her future career.
