Allison Homes, a Stamford College apprentice employer since 2016, has generously donated over £20,000 worth of building materials to our bricklaying students in the form of 27 pallets of bricks with a commitment to donate further surplus supplies in the future.
To thank Allison Homes, Emma Hill, Head of Construction, invited Naomi Tickle to visit Stamford College on Wednesday 10th November. Naomi received a tour of the bricklaying department and met some of the students already benefiting from the building materials she helped supply.
A donation on this scale constitutes a considerable financial saving for Stamford College, which is of particular importance when prices of building materials continue to soar due to a nationwide shortage crisis.
Furthermore, the building materials supplied are of the highest quality and a mixture of different types, benefiting our students' learning experience and increasing their employability upon completion of their studies.
Once again, we would like to take this opportunity to thank Allison Homes, and we look forward to further developing our partnership in the future.
