Sam Smith who has recently completed his A Levels at Stamford College is delighted to have secured his place at Cambridge University after a difficult year for all A Level students.
Achieving A* A* A in English, Religious Studies and Maths at the college, Sam reflected on his time as an A Level student. He said,
“From being home-schooled the college instantly stood out for me as being completely different to a school environment, focusing on independence as well as study. As I stepped through the doors at the Open Evening it felt like an open, more welcoming space that appreciated any student coming from any background. “
“The tutors have been incredible and I could write a long list of everyone I want to thank for the support and guidance that I and many other students have received over the last year to help us get the grades we deserved. Thanks to their support, I’ve now secured myself a place at Cambridge University.”
