A Level Results Outstanding For Stamford College Students


A 99.4% pass rate for A Level students at Stamford College has been celebrated this morning, with 40% of students achieving an A* to B grade.

Marilyn Kennedy, Assistant Principal of the Inspire Education Group with responsibility for A levels at Stamford College, said ‘These grades are testament to the hard work and dedication of the students through three difficult years affected by Covid. They have demonstrated resilience, commitment and determination and have been supported by a strong and supportive teaching team’.

Sam Mor­gan, who achieved A* A A in Soci­ol­o­gy, Pol­i­tics and Eng­lish, said, I couldn’t have done it with­out Stam­ford Col­lege!” Sam joined us from Upping­ham Com­mu­ni­ty Col­lege and is now pro­gress­ing to Durham Uni­ver­si­ty to study Anthro­pol­o­gy and Archaeology.

Bob­by Pig­natiel­lo, who achieved A* A* A in Biol­o­gy, Chem­istry and Maths, said,​”I’m so pleased with my results. The teach­ing I received at Stam­ford Col­lege was the best I’ve ever had!” Bob­by joined us from Wilds Lodge and is now pro­gress­ing to Not­ting­ham Uni­ver­si­ty to study Chemistry.

Lily James, who achieved A* A A in Maths, Physics and Fur­ther Maths, said,​“I had a great time study­ing at Stam­ford Col­lege, I got all the sup­port I need­ed from my lec­tur­ers. They were always there for me.” Lily joined us from Cast­er­ton Col­lege and is now pro­gress­ing to Durham Uni­ver­si­ty to study Maths.

With such fantastic results and superb academic support, it's easy to see why places at Stamford College’s Sixth Form are popular. Any students still interested in applying are encouraged to get in contact as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
