Paul Donschak, A Level Maths, Further Maths and Physics Lecturer at Stamford College, part of Inspire Education Group, has been shortlisted for College Lecturer of the Year in the Lincolnshire Education Excellence Award.

The prestigious annual event, sponsored by Duncan & Toplis, Riverside Training Spalding and Lincolnshire County Council, celebrates the hard work and dedication of those working within the education sector across Lincolnshire. This year, over 450 nominations were submitted across 10 categories, making Paul’s shortlisting alone a phenomenal achievement.
Marilyn Kennedy, Assistant Principal of the Academic Curriculum at Stamford College, who nominated Paul, shared, “Paul is a highly deserving nominee. He has taught at Stamford College, now IEG, for 26 years, and always shown dedication to his learners. He goes above and beyond to support them to succeed and develop critical thinking skills”. In the academic year 2021-2022, Paul also led Stamford College’s AQA A Level Physics department to achieve the highest number of A* and A grades in the country, making him well-deserving of this recognition. Paul himself said, “It was a great honour being nominated and I am humbled to think that others think so much of me”.
The winners will be announced at the Lincolnshire Education Awards ceremony on the 14th of July, held at the Engine Shed in Lincoln. Inspire Education Group wishes Paul, and the other finalists, the best of luck!
