Course overview
Master your skills and deepen your knowledge of the motor industry from a repair and refit perspective. Focus on the diagnosis of modern, complex motor vehicle systems, including advanced systems operation and their faults. You will study both the practical and theoretical aspects of the diagnosis and repair of light vehicles, using industry standard diagnostic equipment.
What Does The Programme Include
You will learn both in the classroom, with theory based discussions, multimedia presentations and worksheets as well as gaining hands on practical experience in our new Automotive Skills Centre. You will be expected to undertake independent learning through research tasks with the opportunity to undertake your own project vehicle builds.
Entry Requirements
Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principals Diploma Level 2, or relevant industry experience.
Additional Information
You will require a uniform consisting of steel toe capped boots and overalls which can be purchased directly from our website. During your interview you will also sit an online suitability assessment. The result of this, plus your previous academic achievements and maturty will determine the level of course you are offered.
