Find my course

Unsure what course to study?

You just need to answer three simple questions about your study preferences, interests and predicted grades and we can suggest courses that might suit you.

  • 1 Study type
  • 2 Your Interests
  • 3 Your Grades
Question 1

How would you prefer to study?

Question 2

What are your interests?

Question 3

What grades have you achieved or are predicted?

These results are a suggestion of courses you may want to explore but are by no means a definitive list and individual entry requirements do apply.

Student Union

At Stamford College we take the views and opinions of our students very seriously. We see the benefit of allowing our learners to have an opportunity to shape the organisation in which they choose to study. Gathering feedback from our students is one of the most effective ways we can improve the College for all!

When you enrol at the College all of our students automatically become part of the Student Union. Every year an Executive Committee is elected by the entire student body to act on behalf of, and with other students in the College representation forums; such as the Student Council.

It is not all business though as the Student Union Executive Committee are also responsible for the fun stuff that goes on at College as well! Social events, trips and charity fundraising all fall under the Student Union remit so if you decide to run in the elections to become part of the Committee or not, there’s never a dull moment at Stamford College! The Student Union Committee also manage their own budget to spend on benefitting everyone who studies at the College.

Are you a Young Carer?

At Stamford College we believe that all young people have the right to an education, regardless of what is happening at home.

We know that the move from School to College can be challenging for many students as well as exciting. However, we recognise that young carers face different issues and want different levels of support. The Student Services Team includes people who are here to help and support with this move to College.

Guided by you, we can work with your Student Mentor and your lecturers to ensure that they are sensitive to your needs. You can access a range of support from our Young Carers Champion (our Student Engagement and Welfare Advisors) which includes our Termly Young Carers 1:1 session at College, financial support and the opportunity to access further support from local carer’s agencies.

At Stamford College, we work closely with colleagues from Lincs Carers Partnership, Carers FIRST and Carers Trust Peterborough to ensure that we understand the needs of young adult carers. As a result of our continuous commitment in the provision of support to Young Carers at Stamford College, we have been accredited with a Lincolnshire Carers Quality Award which aims to promote a variety of ways we can identify, engage, respect and support our young carers in College, awarded by every-one.org.uk You Care- We Care”.
